It’s that time of year where we’re all desperately trying to post this last season’s highlights either as a blogpost, a slide or a social media post. If you’re not friends with a wedding photographer than you probably don’t know what it looks like but it basically involves almost all of us moaning and procrastinating and running around like headless chickens trying to get it sorted.

For example, I’ve been thinking about it for the last couple of months but always found a reason to move it to the bottom of the to-do list until today. Which is why I’m so proud to say that it’s finally here! This slide may not have ALL the best moments of 2018 but it’s not intended to. I’m just trying to give you a little glimpse of what my year has been like with all my amazing couples.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who trusted me to tell their story this year. I’ve met such wonderful people and I’ve had so much fun, it wouldn’t be possible to fit it all in a thirty second video but here it goes…

It’s always difficult to choose. After an eight hour wedding, I come home with around three thousand photos. Of those three thousand I deliver about four hundred. Every moment is unique and powerful so it’s impossible to choose “the best” of the year in 49 photos.

These moments I’ve been fortunate enough to capture mean the world to my couples, and I know this because I was a bride myself. The day flies by and it’s all over before you know it. The emotions in these photos are why I love my job.
