The magic of a European wedding
Getting married abroad is an adventure — a destination wedding lets you create an immersive experience. Imagine the scent of lavender, the salty Mediterranean breeze, cobblestone streets echoing with laughter, or fairy lights twinkling above an alfresco dinner.
From the golden light of Spanish coastlines to the romance of Italian vineyards, Europe is filled with places where love stories come alive. And when you bring your favourite people along for the ride, every glance, every laugh, every stolen kiss becomes unforgettable.
As a wedding photographer, I’m here to capture intimate, natural photos of your dream destination wedding — whether that’s an elopement on the Italian coast, a chic city celebration in France, or a weekend gathering in Spain.

Why Choose a Destination Wedding in Europe?
Destination weddings are less traditional by nature, giving you the freedom to do things your way. They’re not just about the ceremony — they’re an experience.
Europe is endlessly diverse: one day you could be barefoot on a sun-kissed beach, the next saying your vows in a medieval castle or under olive trees in the countryside. Each country has its own rhythm, flavours, and traditions — and together, they create the perfect backdrop for celebrating love.
The moment your guests step off the plane, they’re in holiday mode — relaxed, joyful, ready to celebrate. Whether it’s a multi-day adventure or an intimate elopement, destination weddings are immersive, memorable, and full of opportunities for connection.

Why couples choose to marry abroad:
— Create unforgettable memories over several days
— Freedom to design a wedding that truly reflects you
— Gorgeous weather and stunning backdrops
— Fewer restrictions (yes, you can dance until dawn!)
— More quality time with your loved ones
— Combine your love of travel with your love for each other
Why Hire a Destination Wedding Photographer in Europe?
Planning a wedding from abroad can feel overwhelming, but having a photographer who knows Europe makes everything easier. I understand how the light shifts with the seasons, I’ve worked across cultures, languages, and countries, and I’ll be there with you so you can focus on the joy while I capture it all.
Time passes faster than you think, and your wedding day will be over in a blink.
That’s why I create intimate, natural wedding photos, so that, twenty years from now, you can curl up on your sofa, and feel it all over again — the laughter, the tears, your feet aching from dancing, the hugs — just as if you were right there again.

What to Consider When Planning Your Destination Wedding in Europe
Season & Weather – The time of year can completely change the vibe of your wedding. Summer offers golden light and long evenings, spring brings fresh blooms, and autumn delivers soft colours and cosy warmth. For intimate weddings, you can often pick a quieter season with fewer crowds, giving you more privacy and a more personal experience. If you’re choosing to get married in Europe in the summer keep in mind that it can get really hot during the day.
Guests – Even with a small guest list, travel and accommodation need careful planning. Think about how to make it easy for loved ones to join you, whether it’s helping with local transport, recommending charming boutique hotels, or suggesting nearby activities for a few extra days of celebration. Small weddings allow you to spend more quality time with each guest — so plan ways to make it meaningful for everyone.
Ceremonies – Many couples opt for a symbolic ceremony abroad while handling the legal paperwork at home, as this keeps things simpler. If you do plan a legal ceremony, make sure to check local requirements, paperwork, translations, and apostille stamps. Symbolic ceremonies give you the freedom to make it truly yours, include rituals that matter to you or consider asking a friend to officiate.
Location & Atmosphere – If you’re having a small wedding, you can choose venues that would be impossible for larger weddings — think secluded beaches, boutique villas, or hidden gardens. Intimate weddings allow you to focus on atmosphere, details, and experiences that truly reflect your personalities.
Timing & Flow – Small weddings allow for a more relaxed schedule. Take your time over brunch, wander hand-in-hand for photos, or linger into the evening with music and a few heartfelt toasts. Planning around your priorities will make every moment feel effortless and memorable.

My Feminist Approach to Destination Weddings
My wedding photography style is intimate, natural, and focused on connection — capturing the big emotions and the tiny in-between moments that make your day yours.
As a feminist striving for equality and inclusivity, values are at the heart of my business. I photograph couples and weddings that are very different from one another, but they all share an undercurrent of similar values.
The wedding industry still has work to do when it comes to equality and inclusivity, which is why I’ve spent the last decade dedicated to creating a fair, welcoming, and empowering experience for every couple who books me.
How Much Is a Destination Wedding Photographer?
Your wedding day will pass in the blink of an eye, but your photos will keep those memories alive forever. Long after you’ve returned home and tucked away your wedding outfits, your photos will bring all of it rushing back.
Weddings are a big investment — not just financially, but also in time, energy, and emotions. That’s why I approach wedding photography much like I approach friendship: with time, compassion and honesty.
Every wedding is different, which makes rigid set prices unrealistic. My aim isn’t to squeeze everyone into the same box, but to create a space that fits you perfectly. I price my work for sustainability, joy, and expansiveness — so that I can show up for you fully, present, and energised.
Whether you’re planning a three day destination wedding filled with laughter and the warmth of your loved ones, or an intimate elopement barefoot on a windswept beach, we’ll craft a package that suits your day, your priorities, and your story.

How to Get the Best Destination Wedding Photos in Europe
Time flies on your wedding day—trust me! The key to beautiful, natural wedding photos is feeling comfortable, relaxed, and cared for.
You’re not just “another engaged couple,” and I’m not your average wedding photographer. Creating intimate, natural photos that truly reflect who you are takes time, care, and intention.
I specialise in small, intimate weddings for couples who want to celebrate their love on their own terms. To give each of you the bespoke wedding experience you deserve — and to work in a mindful, balanced way — I only take on a handful of weddings each year.
My best advice as a destination wedding photographer:

— Choose a photographer whose work you love and who you trust completely
— Make extra time for golden hour portraits: the light is magical ✨
— Explore your surroundings and let the landscape become part of your story
— Consider an immersive wedding experience over two or three days rather than focusing on just one
