Hi, I’m Manon — an adventurous photographer living on a sailboat in the Mediterranean. I create intimate, natural photos for couples who follow their hearts.
If you’re a fan of the sea, chocolate, rum and travelling, we’re going to get along just fine.
My photography is inspired by connection, because I believe that’s the answer to life, the universe and everything (yes, I’m a big fan of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy).
You probably don’t want a total stranger showing up, pointing cameras at you on your couples photoshoot or your wedding day. It’s kinda weird, right? That’s why I’m all about connecting, so let’s get started…
I’m a lively Argentine living on a sailboat in the Mediterranean with my husband, Stephen.
Shyness is not one of my many qualities, I’m afraid!
Technically, I’m French but you can ask me more about that over coffee. In 2021, Stephen and I took a leap of faith. We packed up our entire life and flew to Argentina to move into our new home: a sailboat.
Not just any sailboat, but the one my parents built before I was born. The one that took them from France to Argentina via Africa, the one I spent every summer on, the one that took me to Antarctica twice and the one place on earth where I feel most at home.
We sailed over ten thousand nautical miles up to Brazil, Martinique, then across the Atlantic via Açores into the Mediterranean. At this point, you probably have questions.
Yes, it was amazing.
Yes, it was terrifying.
No, we had no clue what we were doing – thankfully, my dad did. He sailed with us to the Med.
Yes, it brought us closer together.
Yes, there were tears.
Yes, we questioned our life choices many times.
Offshore sailing has a way of facing you with your inner demons with no escape, which means you have no choice but to face them. It’s been a time of profound change and growth that we’re still navigating – pardon the pun – but we love our nomadic life on board Kekilistrion.
So anyway, back to “who is Manon?”
I love dancing, chocolate (who doesn’t? – I did have a boyfriend who hated it and our relationship didn’t last) and I’m a speciality coffee snob.
Stephen and I LOVE music so we’re regular concert goers. We’re into the melancholic and wistful (a nice way of saying “depressing”) like Nina Simone, Bon Iver, Laura Marling, Andrew Bird, Lisa Hannigan… and many more.
I have a pretty eclectic taste when it comes to music – and books and movies and everything. It ranges from old school rock to reggaeton and includes classical music, folk, easy listening and everything in between. I guess what I’m saying is that I’m a nuanced, multifaceted woman.
But I digress…
Photos are a collection of memories – fragments of who you are, your story, your life. Great photography brings the feelings, the emotions, the energy and even people, back to the present.
My job as a photographer is to bear witness and to capture fleeting moments in time so that they’re never lost.

Something few people know?
I grew up in the Southern most city of the world: Ushuaia. It’s pretty much falling off the face of the earth.
It’s not a secret that I grew up there, it’s just that most people don’t realise how far South it actually is. 🐧
