A Surrender Session is an opportunity for all three of us to get to know each other. You’ll get comfortable around me and the camera and I’ll learn what makes you tick so that when we get to the wedding day I’ll be able to approach it as a friend rather than a stranger.

When possible, I prefer to sit with your guests so I can really soak up the ambience and make sure I don’t miss a beat. I always love to get to know them and hopefully they’ll have stories to tell me about you.

This varies greatly from wedding to wedding depending on how the blueprint of your day, the number of guests and what activities you’ve got planned.

As a rule of thumb, for a full day wedding it’s usually around 500 photos.

It takes me between 6 to 8 weeks to carefully select and edit your photos. 

Don’t forget that I only get one chance to get this right but they’ll last you a lifetime so I promise it will be worth the wait.

You’ll have your very own gallery t share with the world and you’ll also receive all your files on an USB stick in a cute little package.

I’m very used to working alone and you’ll be surprised to see how much ground I can cover by myself. Having said that, if you’re having a lot of guests or you want photos of the two of you getting ready separately it’s worth booking a second shooter to come along with me on the day.

The payment structure will be outlined in your custom proposal. My suggested payment plan is usually as follows but it can also be tailored to your needs.

The first payment will be a non-refundable booking fee of £500 to secure my services and the remaining balance will be divided in two equal payments.

• Surprise welcome gift.

• Complimentary Surrender Session and a “let’s get to know each other” meeting, usually in Brighton or London.

• Photos carefully curated and edited by me.

• Your own wedding gallery to share with your guests.

• All of your wedding images on an USB stick.

• Unlimited support and professional advice.

• Unlimited video calls.

• Dedicated client portal.

• A curated list of my favourite wedding suppliers.

• Travel and accommodation included (unless you’ve asked for them to be itemised separately).

• Your wedding gallery includes an online shop with a selection of print products.

Absolutely!

Formal shots with your close family are really important. They’re not compulsory so you don’t have to have them, but your parents and grandparents will probably appreciate having some.

They’ll take about half an hour and we’ll carefully make a list before the day.

My job is to tell a story and for this, selecting and editing the photos is as important as taking them.

I don’t send out unedited pictures or RAW files.

Think of it this way: you wouldn’t expect a writer to publish his first draft for a book without editing and polishing it, right? This is the same. There’s a lot more to photography than just pressing the shutter.
